KIM - the University of Hohenheim’s Communication, Information, and Media Center - offers various data storage services. Here is a selection of services offered.
Store your files in one central location: on our file server. Your directories are backed up daily, and the back-up is made automatically. The data you save there is well-secured and can be recovered for you by KIM by the exact day.
For joint projects in your institution or your project, we can set up project directories for you on our new file server system CIFS (Common Internet File System). It is backed up daily. Storage space: standard 10 GB, larger project directory upon request.
Client/Server application to secure and archive data.
For institutes, KIM offers various services related to servers.
Access service to the internet.
