Literature

The KIM library is available to all members of the University of Hohenheim and all persons who are residents of Germany.
The media are indexed in the Hohenheim catalogue. It will tell you the exact location and availability of the work you are looking for, and whether or not you may borrow it. Additional library catalogues allow you to search libraries throughout Germany for literature. Ordered works will be delivered to Hohenheim by inter-library loan.

Research
Several catalogues and databases are available to research printed and electronic literature, depending on what you wish to find (books, journals, essays).
Circulation
The circulation counter is where you borrow, extend and reserve media, and also where you receive journals and inter-library loans.
Inter-library loan
You can borrow books and journals not available in Hohenheim from other libraries via inter-library loan.
Local Electronic Article Service (LEA)
This free service is only available to staff of Universität Hohenheim. You can order articles from journals in the KIM library through the catalogue, to be delivered to your desk.
Document delivery services
Various document delivery services are an alternative to inter-library loans, offering to deliver copies of essays, and sometimes also books. These services have shorter delivery times, but are more expensive than inter-library loans.
