One of KIM's tasks is to provide IT software/hardware for the university administration and to ensure the operation of this infrastructure. For this purpose, the rectorate provides the KIM with financial and human resources. The resources in the KIM are not always sufficient to meet all needs and requirements. Even if procurements are carried out with departmental funds, coordination with the KIM on the IT infrastructure is mandatory. It must be clarified whether the planned IT technology fits into the infrastructure supported by the KIM and whether personnel resources can be made available in the KIM to support this infrastructure.
Our self-image is to support you in your tasks in the best possible way. Due to limited personnel and financial resources, however, only a few exceptions to the standard can be implemented.
