Team storage

For joint projects of your institution or cooperation projects with other institutions, we can create project directories for you on our file server. This allows you to work on files together.

Size of project directory

• 10 Gigabyte by default
• If you need a larger project directory, please send an informal request to speicherplatz@uni-hohenheim.de

Access worldwide
You have several ways to access your project directory:

• via a VPN connection
• via the webmail file manager: guide
• via SFTP
• via console (SSH)

Website
Web content can also be stored in project directories (HTML, PHP, images, downloads). Upon request, this content can be published under a desired web address, please fill out the form Set up project directory

Backup
The backup of your directories is done daily and is performed automatically. The data you store there is well backed up. You can restore your data up to one month into the past from snapshots if necessary: guide.

The data, which are older than one month, can be retrieved from the TSM-BackUp by the KIM "to the day" for you.

Note:
If you wish to store personal data, you are subject to the regulations of the Data Protection Act and are therefore obliged to keep a "Verfahrensverzeichnis".
