Individual software procurement

As an employee of the University of Hohenheim, you can have individual software procured centrally.
Software is generally procured via the KIM in accordance with the circular from the central administration 9/2010.

Requirements

You may only use the software in the context of research, teaching, and your studies, or for projects with no commercial purpose (e.g. for teaching obligations, studies, research, Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, ...).

Instructions e-Purchasing

You have the option of submitting your procurement application in electronic form via a free text order.

Deadlines for procurement requests

To be able to process orders in the ongoing financial year, the deadlines listed below for 2024 must be observed when submitting shopping carts on ePurchasing. After these deadlines have expired, purchasing requests will of course continue to be processed, but it will then no longer be possible to ensure that they are processed in the current budget year. 

  • Software licenses totaling € 5,000 net or more: 15 July 2024
  • All other software licenses that are still to be settled in fiscal year 2024: 30 September 2024
