Adobe Acrobat Pro

The Adobe Acrobat Pro software package is currently financed centrally and is therefore available to all university employees.

Prerequisites

  • You may only use the software for research and teaching purposes and only for non-commercial projects.
  • The authorization to use the software ends when you leave the University of Hohenheim.
  • Please observe the corresponding license conditions of the manufacturer.
  • The software may not be passed on to third parties.
  • A Hohenheim user account is required to log in to ILIAS.

Procedure for employees of the institutes and departments

  1. Call up the software area in ILIAS.
  2. Log in to ILIAS with your Hohenheim user account.
  3. You can then join the course directly.
  4. As soon as you are a member of the course, you can download and install the software packages. You will also find installation instructions and manuals in the ILIAS course.
  5. Wait for the e-mail confirmation from Adobe (may take several hours). You will receive the e-mail to your Hohenheim e-mail address.
  6. Log in to the program yourself (uni-hohenheim.de → Hohenheim user account).
  7. Restart Adobe Acrobat if necessary.

Procedure for employees of the administrationand library

  1. Call up the software area in ILIAS.
  2. Log in to ILIAS with your Hohenheim user account.
  3. You can then join the course directly.
  4. Adobe Acrobat is already installed by default on the managed workstations. The Pro functions are not available without personal registration.
  5. Please wait for the e-mail confirmation from Adobe (may take several hours). You will receive the e-mail to your Hohenheim e-mail address (not the administration e-mail address).
  6. Log in to the program yourself (uni-hohenheim.de → Hohenheim user account).
  7. Restart Adobe Acrobat if necessary.
