Inter-library loan and LEA via the subject area accounts

For inter-library loan and the Local Electronic Article Delivery Service (LEA) from the library, the individual departments can obtain a generic subject area account.

Individual departments may be assigned a department account for inter-library loans and the Library's Local Electronic Article Delivery (LEA) service.

Subject area account functions

The department accounts are available for

  • inter-library loan requests,
  • booking documents delivered via inter-library loan,
  • annual accounting of inter-library loan fees (order and reminder fees) by means of internal billing,
  • orders via LEA (Local Electronic Article Delivery Service of the KIM Library).

Procedure

The user card is issued upon presentation of the completed and signed registration form at the Central Library circulation counter. You can find the form here.

Please fill it out on your computer, print it, and bring it with you to the registration. Unfortunately, we do not recognize electronic signatures. The form is also available at the circulation counter of the ZB.

For department accounts, the following conditions apply:

The user card is issued to the department/facility. The name of the account is identical to the department/facility number.
