Servers for institutes

For institutes, we offer various services on the topic of servers.

• Virtual server
  Upon request, you can obtain a vmware server from us for your use.
• Colocation centre
  Your hardware servers are protected from loss of electricity in the air-conditioned Machine Hall.
• Server procurement
  procuring servers by the central procurement office
• Server certificates
  You can receive DFN server certificates from us

Note

Please note that the use/change of server systems may have to be approved by the Staff Council. This is also to be taken into consideration in case of IT security and data protection issues. If you have any questions, please speak to the following contact persons:
