Survey software

Please note:
Access to the Tivian EFS/Unipark licence will only be available until the end of December 2026. Please ensure you back up your surveys and results in good time.

From June 2026, the University of Hohenheim will be running a LimeSurvey installation on its own servers. The software enables you and your team to design and conduct personalised and/or anonymous online surveys.

In addition, two of the three faculties use the Evasys tool to evaluate courses, as do several other departments within the academic support service for various purposes.

Requirement

Use of LimeSurvey is restricted to members of the university. Private use is not permitted.

Procedure

• Please log in to https://survey.uni-hohenheim.de/admin for the first time using your Hohenheim user account so that the system recognises you.
• Please fill in the form for applying for rights in LimeSurvey (see the link in the right column) and submit it via the website.
• You will be notified as soon as your LimeSurvey account has been set up with the appropriate permissions.

Information on data protection

• Please ensure that you do not collect personal data such as names or email addresses.
• Should you nevertheless collect personal data or use the system to send out survey invitations, you are subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act. You are therefore required to maintain a record of processing activities!
• Information on data protection in the context of university surveys (text modules in German language, as at 07/2026)

Note regarding email delivery

• Please use the global bounce settings to ensure that faulty email invitations are recorded correctly.
