Project bwFDM-Info
The project bwFDM-Info is the follow-up project of the bwFDM-Communities project.
The project focuses on research data management (RDM). A good RDM is becoming more and more important as part of international fundings, and supports scientists to edit and store their scientific data easily and sustainable. The goal is to provide researchers with collected information on several questions on research data management.
Therefore an information web portal forschungsdaten.info, offering a consulting service on RDM is currently under development. Planned is, not only to provide comprehensive information on RDM via the information web portal, but also consulting via a support ticketing system as well as a data management planing tool (DMP-Tool). The DMP tool will be embedded on the main forschungsdaten.info web portal and will be used as useful tool for planning project and budget applications.
Furthermore, as part of the coordination and external connection of the project, an e-science convention will be held in Heidelberg in March 2017. The conference include thematic lecture sessions, special workshops as well as a consulting service for research data management.
The project is financed by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) and actively supported by all the state's universities. Here you can see all of the cooperation projects and services financed by the MWK.
