Subject Databases
Subject databases are subject-specific databases that provide specialist information on classical documentation systems. In the conventional sense, subject databases can be divided into those that contain documents or facts (full text database or knowledge database) and those that refer to documents (bibliography, literature database).
Further information on using and accessing subject databases can be found here.

E-Journals
The total inventory of all electronic journals licensed at the University of Hohenheim can be found in HohSearch and additionally in the database of the Electronic Journals Library (EZB). You can search for journal titles and access the full text if your computer is connected to the Internet via the university network. (Members of the university can dial into the university network via remote access).
You can see whether access is enabled for Hohenheim by the traffic light symbol of the EZB.
E-Books
The University of Hohenheim has licensed e-books from various specialist areas. The licensed e-books are individual e-books from different publishers as well as subject-specific packages from a single publisher or even the entire e-book production of a single publisher. Further e-books are available via a licence (national licence) funded by the DFG throughout Germany.
Access to Licensed Content from Outside Campus (only for university members)
Members of the university can also use the licensed services of the digital library in their home office (via VPN or Shibboleth).
