bwUniCluster 2.0

In March 2020, as part of the Baden-Württemberg High Performance Computing (bwHPC) implementation concept, the new bwUniCluster 2.0 was commissioned as a state service by the operator KIT.

The bwUniCluster 2.0 (uc2) is a massive  parallel computer with a total of 848 computing nodes. Now also with GPUs and  HTP (High Throughput) nodes. It provides entry-level and basic services for high-performance computing in research and teaching and can be used free of charge by all universities in Baden-Württemberg.
