How can I cancel a room I don't need on a single date in a series of dates or withdraw a room request to make it available again for others?

1. Find the event for editing (e.g. via “Edit events“ or “Events and exams of my organizational unit”).

2. In the tab “Appointments & Rooms,” click on the plus symbol in front of the How can I cancel a room that is not required at an individual appointment of an appointment series or withdraw a room request in order to make it available again for others? affected event series.

3. Click on the cancel icon (door with red arrow) for the affected individual event.

If there is an open room request, click on the yellow dot next to it in the “State of room request” column on the right and then on the “Withdrawal of the room request” button (crossed-out question mark symbol).

Can event information (e.g. times, date, expected number of participants, lecturer, room) be changed after a room has been requested?

Please note that the room managers cannot change event data for you.
Only the event management responsible for this event/your institution can do this.

1. In HohCampus, select the role “ Event Management “ (select correct organizational unit if you have multiple roles).

2. Click on the quicklink  “Edit events“ on the home page of Event Management.

3. Select the desired event and go to the second tab “Dates & Rooms“ (click the calendar icon with pencil next to the event).

4. Withdraw the room request (door arrow symbol next to the event)

5. After cancelling the room, you regain access to your event data and can edit it. Adjust the desired fields (e.g. times).

After that, submit a room request again as usual.

The room request is then checked and processed again by the room management team.
