Applicant
The applicant is also the administrator of the list. This person will receive the initial password for the administration of the mailing list. He or she can also change all settings of the list, add more administrators, and set new admin passwords.

Number of institution (including department)
Name and number of your institute/institution. For other Hohenheim units, such as organizations, departmental student representatives, or associations, please fill in the name and contact details.

List name
No spaces or special characters. The list will be available via Listenname@listserv.uni-hohenheim.de.

Public list
A public list can be viewed in the Hohenheim mailing list overview. We no longer enable this release because it attracts a lot of spam to the list. If you want to publish the list, please do so via your project or institute homepage.

Description
Brief description of the list. For public lists, this description will be displayed in the mailing list overview.

Info text
If necessary, a more detailed description about the purpose of the mailing list. This text will be displayed on the information page of the mailing list.

Moderation
Especially in the case of large or public mailing lists it is recommended to send certain standard e-mails to new members in order to avoid spam.

Mails from non-members may be directed to the list
In order to avoid spam in case of large/public lists, mails of unknown senders should not be directed to the list without prior control. Directly sending mails to the list is useful if the list is used as a registration platform for events.

Archive
A private archive is only accessible for members of the mailing list. Public archives are accessible to anybody worldwide.
