Research data management (RDM)

Research data is a central component of scientific work and forms the foundation for transparent, traceable, and sustainable research.

The research-related services of the KIM unit (Communication, Information and Media Center) at the University of Hohenheim can assist you in managing your research data in keeping with FAIR principles along the data lifecycle.

KIM is part of the editorial team of the Forschungsdaten.info, information platform; this platform in turn is part of the State Initiative for Research Data Management (FDM) in Baden-Württemberg (bwFDM.de).

The working group of research data officers at the nine Baden-Württemberg state universities (AK FDM) provides an opportunity for discussion on current subjects and further developments in the FDM. To bolster networking and cooperations, there is also a bwFDM Forum where FDM stakeholders compare notes, discuss, or put forward new impetus.
