Google fixes 20 security vulnerabilities in its Chrome browser [21.07.23]
On 07/18/2023, Google released version 115 of its Chrome web browser, fixing a total of 20 vulnerabilities. Google rates four of these vulnerabilities with high criticality, six with medium criticality and one with low criticality. Some of the vulnerabilities mentioned could lead to the execution of injected malicious code. To fix the vulnerabilities, users:inside should update their installation to the latest Chrome versions 115.0.5790.98 for Linux and Mac and 115.0.5790.98/99 for Windows. Since the vulnerabilities can also be found in the open-source Chromium base, it can be assumed, according to media reports, that other manufacturers will release updated versions of their browsers in the near future.
