Warning about SPAM E-MAILS [14.10.15]
Students and staff at Universität Hohenheim receive spam messages particularly at the start of the semester. We are currently identifying an increased number of messages purporting to come from the management of the University or the KIM Administration asking the recipient to "validate" their user name and password.
The specific content of these messages looks like this:

These messages are regrettably a constant factor with universities and companies and, for a number of reasons, cannot be entirely blocked by the KIM. We therefore ask you to carefully check all messages when you receive them. In particular avoid using "links" that connect you directly to the internet from unknown senders.
Please note: no serious partner will request you to "confirm" or "change" your user name, account data or even passwords in advance.
