Maintenance of the mailserver on 4 November 2021 from 5 p.m. onwards  [26.10.21]

On 4 November 2021, there will be temporary restrictions on e-mail retrieval and sending between 5 p.m. and approx. 8 p.m. due to maintenance work on the mail server.

During this time, it will temporarily not be possible to retrieve and send emails. This affects both webmail and e-mail programs such as Outlook or Thunderbird.

E-mail sent to university addresses during this time will be delayed in delivery.

The university administration e-mail system is not affected by the maintenance work.

During the maintenance work, technical changes will be made to the group mailboxes, among other things.

Until now, the group mailboxes were accessible under
"Groups/example."

In the future, after the update, the group mailboxes will be found under "Groups/example@uni-hohenheim.de". So under the full e-mail address.
In addition, the folder "Groups/example@uni-hohenheim.de/INBOX" will be added, which represents the inbox of the group mailbox just like "Groups/example@uni-hohenheim.de".
