Time limit for external shares in Microsoft 365 [17.06.24]
To increase data security and fulfil data protection requirements, external shares for guests are now limited to 30 days in Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams). After 30 days, the required share must be created again for the person concerned.
The time limit does not apply to internal shares within the Microsoft 365 environment.
