Updates for Google Chrome fixes high-risk security vulnerabilities [31.08.23]
In the weekly update for the Chrome web browser, a security vulnerability was closed that is classified as a high risk. Attackers from the web can abuse the vulnerability, for example by manipulating websites, in order to inject malicious code. Users should ensure that they always use the latest version of the browser.
The web browser is available in different versions on the various platforms. On Android, the version number is 116.0.5845.163 and for Apple's iOS it is 116.0.5845.146. Those using Linux or macOS should use the version 116.0.5845.140. Finally, for Windows users:inside, the version Google Chrome 116.0.5845.140/.141 is exempt from the vulnerability.
