MATLAB

As an employee of the University of Hohenheim, you can download and use the MATLAB software in two ways.

Alternative 1: Download from the software manufacturer (MathWorks)

• Go to the software manufacturer’s portal.
• Click on "MATLAB download: Starten Sie noch heute".
• There, register with your Hohenheim user account.
• Then you will need to create a MathWorks account or can log in if you already have a MathWorks account.
• Now choose which software packages you want to download and install.
• After downloading, you can also use MATLAB offline!
• With your MathWorks account, you can extend your license annually on your own and take part in online training courses.

Alternative 2: Download using ILIAS

• Sign up for the following ILIAS course.
• In the ILIAS course, you can download and install the complete software package.
• It is not necessary to register with MathWorks.
• The software can only be used in the Hohenheim network or using a VPN connection.
• The license is automatically extended every year without you needing to do anything.
