bwSFS-2 Storage for Science

Researchers can apply for storage projects and, once their application has been approved, log in to the bwSFS-2 platform using their user account (Shibboleth) and by agreeing to the terms of use . Make the request by email. (You need to state information regarding storage requirements, project duration, and contact persons). Afterward, questions and further details will be addressed during a consultation.

• Employees of the participating universities of Hohenheim and Stuttgart are eligible to request the bwSFS-2. 
• Users must have a valid university account  
• Requesters/data managers (RDMs) can grant participants access to collaborative activities for resource type S3.
• Use of the storage facility is free of charge in Hohenheim.  
• bwSFS 2 in Hohenheim is used for storing and using research data during the project phase. Appropriate archiving or repository services (re3data.org) should be used for the long-term archiving and publication of research data. bwsfs-2 is not a long-term archive.
