Warnings during VPN connection establishment  [05.07.19]

Due to the necessary renewal of the certificates on the VPN servers, since 02.07.2019 there have been warnings on some devices when establishing a VPN connection. The cause is a missing certificate on the user devices.

Solution:

- For Windows 10 devices:

  Internet Explorer or Edge open https://vpn.uni-hohenheim.de/

  This will install the certificate.

- For Android devices (4.4.4 and older):

 Install the missing certificate (T-TeleSec GlobalRoot Class2) according to these instructions:

The correct installations of eduroam (https://kim.uni-hohenheim.de/100303 ) on the respective system also installs the required certificate.
