Hohenheim Research Projects at the 12th bwHPC Symposium 2026  [06.10.26]

The 12th bwHPC Symposium, organized by project partner the University of Konstanz in September 2026, focused on current research findings made possible with the support of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg.

The University of Hohenheim was also represented: Researchers from the institutes of Animal Sciences, Crop Sciences and Economics presented their projects through talks and posters. Their contributions demonstrated the wide range of ways HPC can be used to address scientific research questions. The symposium also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas with other researchers, bwHPC operators, and other state-wide initiatives. These included bwRSE4HPC, a service that supports and helps optimize research software, as well as bwfdm, a service focused on research data management.

Already using bwHPC? Make your research visible!
Present your research project, for which you have used bwHPC resources, as a Success Story on the bwHPC website. Publications resulting from research conducted using publicly funded HPC resources should be submitted to the „Publications“ section of the bwHPC website.

Are you considering bwHPC for your research?
High-Performance Computing can help accelerate computationally intensive research, for example in simulations, large-scale data analysis, complex modeling, or applications involving AI and machine learning. Advanced undergraduate and graduate students can also benefit from bwHPC resources. Learn more on our website or contact us! kim-bw-projekt@uni-hohenheim.de
