eduroam – please renew your Wi-Fi profile by 21 November 2026 [19.10.26]
On 21 November 2026, the current security certificate for our eduroam service will expire. For this reason, the University of Hohenheim now provides a new eduroam profile, which needs to be installed.
Who needs to act?
Everyone who set up eduroam on a device before 23 September 2026. Please renew the profile on each of these devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.) by 21 November 2026 at the latest. Otherwise, you will no longer be able to connect to the Wi-Fi via eduroam on that device.
If you set up eduroam on or after 23 September 2026, you don't need to do anything.
If you're not sure whether this affects you? Just renew the profile anyway. It only takes a few minutes and does no harm.
