Inauguration IT-Service-Desk  [18.09.14]

The new IT-Service-Desk of the KIM will be officially inaugurated by the president of the University of Hohenheim on Monday, 22.09.2014.

In the last few months the IT-Service-Desk has been set up during operation as a first level of contact for inquiries about the IT services of the KIM.

What does the IT-Service-Desk provide?

  • Advice and support to services of the KIM, e.g. email, VPN, WiFi
  • Assistance with questions about the Hohenheim user account, e.g. requesting and renewing user accounts, setting up passwords

Services exclusively for staff:

  • Loan pool respectively handing over of devices, e.g. notebooks, projectors, laser pointers, cameras
  • Order and collection of printed materials, e.g. posters, flyers
  • General computer support as repair, installation of operating systems, data recovery
