Learning Linux & Introduction to High Performance Computing (bwHPC)  [15.09.22]

The KIM team HPC & FDM offers a 2-part online training course on 12./13. October 2022 to get started with High Performance Computing in Baden-Württemberg (bwHPC). The event is aimed at interested students, PhD students and employees of all disciplines who would like to realize their computationally and/or data-intensive simulations and computational projects on the High-Performance Computers provided in Baden-Württemberg in the future.

Part 1 "Learning Linux: Getting started with High-Performance Computing" will take place on 12.10.2022 and is aimed at absolute beginners. Basic commands with Linux will be explained, for example how to create, copy, move a file, grant rights and how to create first scripts in an editor.
