REMINDER: Zoom maintenance on 29.06. from 1:00 a.m. to max. 10:00 a.m.  [27.06.23]

On 29.06. from 1:00 a.m. to max. 10:00 a.m. our Zoom instance will be migrated to the Telekom servers. Zoom will not be available during this time. 

As of 3 July, the telephone numbers for all existing meetings will change and should then be taken into account accordingly in the invitations.

Background:

The main reason for this change is data protection. Zoom X was developed jointly by Zoom and Telekom especially for the German market. Zoom X combines Zoom's video communication platform with Telekom's network and ensures that all meeting data from participants in Germany is processed on servers in Germany.

During the migration ...

  • users cannot log in to Zoom
  • users will be logged out of the client
  • users will not be able to schedule meetings
  • ongoing meetings will be terminated
  • new meetings cannot be started
  • all saved virtual backgrounds will be deleted
