The Article Processing Charge (APC) of all Springer Open and BioMed Central title will receive a 20% discount is granted. This discount is not valid for Nature Communications and Scientific Reports. The publication fees for the journals are initially charged centrally to the university. SpringerNature in its communication with scientists*, due to the central invoicing of all publications as free of charge dar. This is so not right. The Fully Open Access fees are will be charged to the authors (analogous to the DEAL Wiley contract). Until 1 August 2020, the invoice will be sent directly to the authors.

  • Springer has drawn up a final list which clearly indicates whether the journal is a hybrid journal (Open Choice) or a pure Open Access journal (Fully Open Access). Scientists and scholars can also check here whether fees are passed on to them if necessary
