Scan to e-mail

You can use multifunction printers to scan documents up to A3 size, either individually or via the document feeder, and send them to yourself by e-mail. Only Hohenheim e-mail addresses are accepted as recipients.

Scanning costs money (see Prices), meaning you will require a student ID or a visitor’s card with sufficient credit.

Procedure
  1. After putting your student ID / canteen card in the reading device, select the function  Scannen from the multi-function device’s display.
  2. In the next menu, select e-mail .
  3. Scans are only sent to Hohenheim e-mail addresses. The button prefix/suffix means you do not have to enter the Hohenheim e-mail address suffix (@uni-hohenheim.de) by hand.
  4. Place the document on the glass plate or on the feed tray and start the scan using the green button on the scanner.

Important information

The Scan to E-mail function can only be used with a valid Hohenheim e-mail address.
