Library account

Conditions

For the use of the KIM Library, you need a library card and a library account. You do not need to request these separately. Your student ID is also your library card. Your data are automatically added to the library system from the student management system, and a library account is set up.

Functions of the library account

  • Overview of all media on loan
  • Renewal of the loan period
  • View your reservations and online orders (inter-library loan requests and orders from the external stacks).
  • View your overdue notices and other notifications
  • View the address saved for your account 
  • Reserve media on loan
  • Submit inter-library loan requests

How to access your library account

In the Hohenheim Catalog, you can open your library account.

Please log in with your Hohenheim user account via Shibboleth.

Forgot your password?

If you have forgotten the password for your Hohenheim user account, please contact the IT Service Desk. You can find further information here.

Loss of student ID

Hohenheim students

Changes of address

Please report changes of address via the student portal "HohCampus" on the university's homepage: hohcampus.verw.uni-hohenheim.de
