Microsoft 365 Apps

 

Since 1 May 2025, it is no longer possible to subscribe to or renew Office 365 for students via bildung365.de. If your @bwedu.de account has expired and you can no longer log in to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., please use your new M365 account.

Procedure:
1. log out with the @bwedu.de account.
2. log in with the account [Hohenheim user ID]@clm.uni-hohenheim.de
3. log in with the Hohenheim user account after being redirected to Shibboleth.

As a student or doctoral candidate at the University of Hohenheim, you are automatically entitled to a licence for Microsoft 365 Apps for pupils and students.

  • Including version updates for free
  • The following applications are included in Microsoft 365 Apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Publisher (not for Mac) and Access (not for Mac)

Requirement

You are a registered student of the University of Hohenheim and have a Hohenheim user account.

Instructions (If you have never used MS Office 365 before)

  • Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/
  • Click on "Sign in".
  • Enter [Hohenheim user ID]@clm.uni-hohenheim.de in the login field and click on "Next".
  • You will now be redirected to the registration page of your organisation "University of Hohenheim".
  • Enter your Hohenheim user ID and the corresponding password and click on "Login".
  • You will then be redirected to your download area via the "Install apps > Microsoft 365 apps" button.
  • You can download the OfficeSetup.exe via the "Install office" button.
