Getting started
When you enroll, you will automatically receive a library account. With your student ID card, which is also your library card, you can borrow media from the library.
You will also receive a Hohenheim user account when you enroll, which will enable you to use many KIM services.
Using online services
With the Hohenheim user account you automatically have an email address. It also enables internet access on campus and access to computer rooms, to the learning platform ILIAS as well as the intranet.
When looking for books and journals located in Hohenheim, use the Hohenheim Catalog.
In the library account, you can reserve media and renew the media you have borroed.
Work, surf, print
In the library you will find individual and group workstations, some of which also have network connections for your notebooks. Our PC rooms are available for digital work.
Copiers are available at various locations. You need a copy card to use them. Printers and book scanners are also available. Here you will find all information about printing, copying and scanning.
Guided tours and courses
At the beginning of the winter semester, guided tours of the Central and Departmental Libraries take place. You can also book courses on IT topics and literature research.
