Courses offered by KIM

In our events and advising sessions, we impart competences for the safe handling of IT programs and the efficient use of scientific information offers and library services.

Courses with set dates

Self-study offer (can be watched at any time)

On-campus courses
take place on a specific date on campus.  
The courses are offered and managed via the University's central continuing education platform "F.I.T.". That means you can register for a course there.

Online courses
take place on a specific date and are hosted "live" via Zoom. You can attend the event from home or on the road.
The courses are announced via the university's central continuing education platform "F.I.T.". There you can also register for the course.  
The access link is either in the course description or it will be sent by email after registration.

Offers for self-study anytime and anywhere:

  • LinkedIn Learning: Video tutorials as self-study courses on topics from the areas of Office, IT, and creativity - in German and English.

  • Digital IT manuals: University of Hohenheim members have access to a wide range of free digital IT manuals on topics such as Windows, Office, systems and networks, photo editing, graphics, programming, CAD, web, databases, IT management, etc. (only for university members)

  • JoVE Unlimited (only for members of the university): Instructional videos to effectively teach scientific concepts and laboratory methods for a variety of undergraduate courses
