Reminder: New username for the M365 user account [05.05.25]
As previously announced, the Microsoft account will be merged with the Hohenheim user account. The procedure will take place in two steps:
1. Adjusting the username for logging in to M365 (Office, Teams)
Instead of the e-mail address, the user name will in future be [Hohenheim user name]@clm.uni-hohenheim.de. [Hohenheim user name] is a placeholder for your user ID for the Hohenheim user account. An example of the new user name is abcde12@clm.uni-hohenheim.de
The password will remain the same for the time being.
The adjustment will be made on Thursday, May 8, 2025 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. During this time, it will not be possible to log in to M365. If you are already logged in, you will probably still be able to use M365.
After the adjustment, please log out of M365 and log in again with the new user ID and the previous password.
2. Using the password of the Hohenheim user account
This step will take place about 2 weeks later. We will inform you separately about this.
Please note that for technical reasons, it will not be possible to self-register for M365 since Monday, May 5, 2025 (in the afternoon) until the end of the adjustments from step 1. This means that no new access to M365 can be activated during this period.
