Open Access: DFG Supports Publication Funds [26.10.26]
As part of the DFG funding program “Open Access Publication Costs” the University of Hohenheim will receive external funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the years 2026 through 2027. This funding supplements the support provided by the University’s Publication Fund and makes it possible to provide increased funding for DFG-funded gold open access publications.
Funding may amount to up to 2,900 euros per publication. It consists of 1,400 euros in DFG funding and up to 1,500 euros from the Publication Fund.
Funding can be requested using the application form for the Publication Fund. Please select “DFG” in the projectfield and enter the grant number.
Important Note:
If the publication resulted from an DFG research funding, this must be indicated in the Funding Acknowledgments. Please be sure to include the funding acknowledgment, including the DFG project number from the GEPRIS database, in your publication.
