Inter-library Loan
Books and journal articles that are not available on Hohenheim campus can be ordered from other libraries via inter-library loan.
Placing an order
For placing an order, a library card issued by the Hohenheim Communication, Information and Media Centre (KIM) library is required. One inter-library loan per book title or journal article may be necessary. The fee per inter-library loan request is 1,50 EUR.
The order normally takes 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, no information can be issued on the processing status of an inter-library loan request.
Pick-up and lending conditions
The literature you have ordered can be collected from the circulation desk in the Central Library. You will be informed in your library account and via e-mail or by post as soon as the ordered books or articles arrive.
Any copies supplied will remain in your possession. For books, the loan period usually is 4 weeks. This period may vary depending on the lending library.
