The NFDI4Biodiversity network, part of the National Data Infrastructure (NFDI), invites you to a new online workshop series on NFDI4Biodiversity Tools & Services.
Naouel Karam from the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS/DANA - Data Analytics Center will kick things off on 4 April 2024 at 3 pm with the Terminology Service. This service offers tools and services that enable terminologies to be found, researched, exchanged and reused in order to semantically expand research platforms. The webinar will be held in English.
Further information on registration. If you have any questions about the series, please contact NFDI4Biodiversity training coordinator Daniel Tschink.
The NFDI4Biodiversity is a consortium of various research institutions, associations, natural history societies, state offices and civil society initiatives. The aim is to develop a common approach to making biodiversity data available for research and practice. The consortium offers its users services that make it possible to better secure data, organise it across institutions, publish it and thus make it reusable.
There are currently 26 funded NFDI consortia for various scientific disciplines. These offer information and support on research data management specifically for the respective discipline.
The University of Hohenheim is currently involved in the DataPlant, NFDI4Microaiota and FAIRagro consortia. If you have any further questions about research data management, please visit the Hohenheim page of the KIM Research Data Management.
